Belarus Barometric Pressure Map

Depending on how many places we monitor in Belarus, the map displays a sampled set of barometric pressure data to give a clear overview of current conditions.

Here you can see which cities experienced the biggest and smallest changes in barometric pressure today. This helps highlight areas with the most stable or unstable weather patterns.

Most volatile

Least volatile

How is it calculated?

Our volatility “beta” number is generated by an algorithm that analyzes hourly barometric pressure changes. It looks at how much the pressure fluctuates from hour to hour. A beta of 0 means no change, perfectly stable pressure. The higher the decimal value, the more variation there has been throughout the day or over a longer period.

Weather Systems

Belarus is influenced by different weather systems that change air pressure. Atlantic cyclones often bring low pressure, causing clouds and rain. Siberian anticyclones bring high pressure, making the weather calmer and colder. These systems move across Belarus during the year and affect daily weather.

Geography

Belarus is mostly flat, with no tall mountains. This means air can move easily across the country. Because of this, there are few big differences in air pressure from place to place. Most changes happen because of weather systems, not because of the land’s shape.

Seasonal Cycles

In winter, high-pressure systems from Siberia often stay over Belarus. This brings cold and dry weather. In summer, low-pressure areas from the Atlantic Ocean are more common. These bring more clouds and rain. So, pressure is usually higher in winter and lower in summer.

Climate Change

Climate change may change air pressure in Belarus over time. Warmer temperatures could cause more frequent or stronger storms, changing low and high-pressure periods. Some scientists think that Belarus may get more low-pressure systems, leading to more rain and changing weather patterns in the future.

Places in Belarus

You can find your city in the lists below, by using our search, or on the Belarus Pressure Map above. We're tracking barometric pressure across multiple locations in Belarus to keep you informed.

Each city includes a pressure status showing whether it's currently high, normal or low, along with two volatility values: one for today and one for the full period, usually 14 days. These help you see how much the pressure is changing over time.
