Estonia Barometric Pressure Map
Depending on how many places we monitor in Estonia, the map displays a sampled set of barometric pressure data to give a clear overview of current conditions.Trends Today
Here you can see which cities experienced the biggest and smallest changes in barometric pressure today. This helps highlight areas with the most stable or unstable weather patterns.
Most volatile
Least volatile
How is it calculated?
Our volatility “beta” number is generated by an algorithm that analyzes hourly barometric pressure changes. It looks at how much the pressure fluctuates from hour to hour. A beta of 0 means no change, perfectly stable pressure. The higher the decimal value, the more variation there has been throughout the day or over a longer period.
Weather Systems
Air pressure in Estonia changes when weather systems move across the region. Low-pressure systems usually bring clouds and rain, while high-pressure systems bring clear, calm weather. These systems mostly come from the west due to winds from the Atlantic Ocean.
Geography
Estonia’s flat land lets air pressure systems move easily across the country. The Baltic Sea nearby can make pressure differences stronger, especially near the coast. Sometimes, sea breezes change local pressure along the shoreline.
Seasonal Cycles
Air pressure patterns follow the seasons in Estonia. In winter, high pressure often brings cold, dry air from Russia. In summer, low pressure is more common, bringing wetter weather and storms from the Atlantic. Pressure changes the most during spring and autumn.
Climate Change
Climate change may make Estonia’s air pressure patterns less predictable. Winters could have fewer strong high-pressure systems, leading to milder weather. More frequent storms and quick pressure changes may also happen, with wetter periods during some seasons.
Places in Estonia
You can find your city in the lists below, by using our search, or on the Estonia Pressure Map above. We're tracking barometric pressure across multiple locations in Estonia to keep you informed.
Each city includes a pressure status showing whether it's currently high, normal or low, along with two volatility values: one for today and one for the full period, usually 14 days. These help you see how much the pressure is changing over time.
