Kuwait Barometric Pressure Map

Depending on how many places we monitor in Kuwait, the map displays a sampled set of barometric pressure data to give a clear overview of current conditions.

Here you can see which cities experienced the biggest and smallest changes in barometric pressure today. This helps highlight areas with the most stable or unstable weather patterns.

Most volatile

Least volatile

How is it calculated?

Our volatility “beta” number is generated by an algorithm that analyzes hourly barometric pressure changes. It looks at how much the pressure fluctuates from hour to hour. A beta of 0 means no change, perfectly stable pressure. The higher the decimal value, the more variation there has been throughout the day or over a longer period.

Weather Systems

Low and high air pressure systems often move across Kuwait. In winter, cold high pressure from the north brings cooler air. In summer, low pressure from heated desert regions causes hot and dry conditions. Sometimes, pressure changes quickly when different weather systems meet.

Geography

Kuwait is flat and located by the Arabian Gulf and desert. The lack of mountains means air masses can move easily across the land. The sea can cause small changes in pressure, especially near the coast, but overall, the desert has a bigger effect on the air pressure patterns.

Seasonal Cycles

Pressure in Kuwait changes with the seasons. In summer, very hot temperatures create strong low pressure over land. In winter, cooler weather brings higher pressure. Spring and autumn have more mixed pressure, so weather can suddenly shift between hot and cool.

Climate Change

Climate change is causing temperatures in Kuwait to rise. This can make summer low pressure zones even stronger and last longer. These shifts might lead to more heatwaves, drier weather, and more sudden pressure changes during the year.

Places in Kuwait

You can find your city in the lists below, by using our search, or on the Kuwait Pressure Map above. We're tracking barometric pressure across multiple locations in Kuwait to keep you informed.

Each city includes a pressure status showing whether it's currently high, normal or low, along with two volatility values: one for today and one for the full period, usually 14 days. These help you see how much the pressure is changing over time.
