Barometric Pressure in Denmark
We monitor barometric pressure across 20 cities in Denmark, giving you up-to-date insights into local weather patterns.
Whether you're tracking pressure changes for health reasons, planning outdoor activities, or planning a fishing trip, our data is tailored to conditions in Denmark, with detailed readings city by city.
Denmark Barometric Pressure Map
Depending on how many places we monitor in Denmark, the map displays a sampled set of barometric pressure data to give a clear overview of current conditions.Trends Today
Here you can see which cities experienced the biggest and smallest changes in barometric pressure today. This helps highlight areas with the most stable or unstable weather patterns.
Most volatile
Least volatile
How is it calculated?
Our volatility “beta” number is generated by an algorithm that analyzes hourly barometric pressure changes. It looks at how much the pressure fluctuates from hour to hour. A beta of 0 means no change, perfectly stable pressure. The higher the decimal value, the more variation there has been throughout the day or over a longer period.
Weather Systems
Low-pressure systems from the Atlantic Ocean often reach Denmark, bringing clouds, rain, and windy weather. High-pressure systems from Eastern Europe sometimes arrive, usually bringing clear skies and calm winds. These different weather systems cause air pressure in Denmark to change often.
Geography
Denmark is mostly flat, with no tall mountains to block or trap air. Because of this, Atlantic winds move freely across the country, spreading changes in air pressure very quickly. The surrounding sea also helps keep pressure differences smaller by balancing temperatures.
Seasonal Cycles
Winter brings more low-pressure systems and stronger winds, making the air pressure change quickly and often drop. In summer, high-pressure systems appear more often and stay longer, creating steadier air pressure and calmer, sunnier weather.
Climate Change
With climate change, storms and strong low-pressure systems are expected to become more common, especially in winter. This could cause more sudden changes in air pressure, resulting in more frequent windy and rainy weather for Denmark in the future.
Places in Denmark
You can find your city in the lists below, by using our search, or on the Denmark Pressure Map above. We're tracking barometric pressure across multiple locations in Denmark to keep you informed.
Each city includes a pressure status showing whether it's currently high, normal or low, along with two volatility values: one for today and one for the full period, usually 14 days. These help you see how much the pressure is changing over time.
